27 week survey

Due date: 7/28/15
What fruit are you: cucumber or a head of cauliflower (2.2 lbs 15")
How far along: 27 weeks 4 days
Next appointment: 5/6
Gender: it's a surprise
Total weight gain/loss: 28 lbs didn't gain anything from last week thankfully!
Exercise: swimming more
Stretch marks: no new ones
Swelling: a little bit in my fingers and feet.
Maternity clothes: yes
Belly button: getting flatter still an inny though
Sleep: only get up once in the night :)
Food aversion/cravings: I haven't thrown up this week thankfully but I've been taking my meds. Still have waves of nausea but I'm eating small meals well I'd say a snack every 2 hours which has also helped with heartburn. I don't really have food aversions unless I'm having a nausea spell.
Symptoms: large baby bump, weight gain, nausea and heartburn (maybe this baby will have hair like the other two😃)
Movement: oh yes lots of it!!! Most active times of the day are in the morning and between 8-10pm.
Labor signs: only having sporadic Braxton Hicks contractions.
What I miss: sleeping flat and not having to take meds.
What I am loving: I am still loving the movement!
What I am looking forward to: glucose test next week and rhogam shot.
Best moment of the week: put together the crib and some other baby items to make sure they work or to clean them if they are dirty. I love that we are almost set for this baby!!! Just need diapers, diaper bag, changing pad cover, fitted sheets and boppy!!!
Milestones: third trimester baby!!!!! 12 weeks 3 days left but who's counting 😜
News: Nataleigh has 9 or 10 days left of school then our first year of homeschooling will be in the books!!!! So proud of myself for sticking it out and proud of how well she has done academically! She's a bright girl!
Goals:working on the nursery here and there and getting it ready. Not a lot to do but feels good getting stuff done!
Weekly wisdom: since heartburn has been bad the last few weeks I tried eating smaller meals more frequently and it's helping. Hopefully it will also help me not gain as much weight!

A few things put together :) got this crib plus a full size high chair both almost brand new for $20! The crib retails for $150 and high chair for $70-80! Thankful to the Lord for these awesome finds!!

That's all for now! Till next time!!

26 week survey

Due date: 7/28/15
What fruit are you: a head of lettuce (2 lbs, 13.5")
How far along: 26 weeks! Last week of 2nd trimester!
Next appointment: 5/6/15
Gender: still a surprise
Total weight gain/loss: 28 lbs
Exercise: swimming more.
Stretch marks: no new ones yay!!
Swelling: not as much just think for the lack of movement last week and not staying as hydrated that I had some moderate swelling.
Maternity clothes: yes! Still can wear a few non maternity shirts & flowy dresses but all pants/shorts/capris are maternity
Belly button: getting more flare and shallow
Sleep: good, waking up once in the night to pee, I've started taking N pee too to help continue her with staying dry through the night! She's doing great! It's been almost 2 weeks with dry pull-ups and this week she started wearing underwear to bed! Only one accident this week (I didn't take her pee before bed) very proud of her regardless!
Food aversion/cravings: note to self: TAKE YOUR MEDS! I tried to not take them and felt ok when I woke up but after breakfast I felt horrible and puked up my entire breakfast!! Sooooo over puking! Never thought I'd still have to deal with it at this point in my pregnancy! Also stay away from Golden Grahams...everytime I eat them which isn't often I end up puking them right back up!
Symptoms: nausea & vomiting still! Fetal movement, growing baby bump :)
Movement: this baby is making me think it's going to be a gymnast!!!! I cannot believe how much I feel all the time!
Labor signs: unfortunately Friday 4/25 I started have contractions that were taking my breath away and were 2 mins apart last from 45 seconds to 1 minute 30 seconds for an hour! Then they stopped thankfully! Trying to take it easy. I do not remember having them (I'm guessing Braxton Hicks contractions) with N & A so I was kind of shocked that j got them this pregnancy.
What I miss: sleeping flat on my back
What I am loving: still loving the movement!!
What I am looking forward to: third trimester next week!!
Best moment of the week: spending some time as a family and spending adult time with Rosa (Nate's classmate) and her children.
Milestones: last week of second trimester!!!! Woo hoo!!! Time is flying by!!
News: no news this week.
Goals: exercise more and eat healthy keep hydrated to reduce swelling. Pretty proud of myself at this point with not having a ton of swelling!
Weekly wisdom: came across two things this week: 1. Gentleness often works better than force...good reminder for me when being around my kids 24/7 and not getting breaks from them. 2. Well then there's the baby brain issue if I can remember it I will post it!!! LOL!

Feeling good at 26 weeks!!!

Getting lots of use out of this bathing suit!

That's all for now! Till next time!!

25 week survey

Due date: 7/28/15
What fruit are you: Rutabaga (1.5 lbs and 13.5" from head to heel)
How far along: 25 weeks 2 days
Next appointment: 5-6
Gender: still a surprise
Total weight gain/loss: 25 pounds so far. Visiting everyone at home and not being as active the weight crept up on me 😜
Exercise: now that I'm back in Florida I'm swimming more.
Stretch marks: no new ones.
Swelling: yes somewhat but I'm really focused on drinking a lot of fluids and not sitting or standing long periods of time. Also watching my salt intake.
Maternity clothes: yes. Still fitting some flowy non maternity dresses and shirts. Makes me feel good :)
Belly button: getting flatter each week.
Sleep: pretty good. Get up once maybe twice a night to use bathroom but I was able to finally catch up on some much needed sleep everyone was asleep by 8:15! Felt so good and I woke up at 7:10 so almost 11 hours of sleep! Felt so good!!!!
Food aversion/cravings: nausea is still there just not as bad. Still taking unisom at night to help and I notice if I don't take it still at this point in my pregnancy I dry heave a few times during the day and puke sometimes if I can't calm myself down. Loving both salty & sweet food but I had/have a goal to not gain more than 35-40 pounds so I'm really trying to eat more salads at least one a day of not twice. Trying to choose healthy options instead of just junk food. I haven't gained weight the last 3 weeks so that makes me happy that I'm trying to make good choices for both myself & thd baby. As far as aversions go, cucumbers, tomato anything, chocolate, popcorn all cause bad heartburn so limiting my consumption of them.
Symptoms: growing bump, nausea, heartburn is becoming a frequent visitor, increase sense of smell and with each pregnancy I've noticed my eye sight gets a little worse.
Movement: YES!!!!! Loving it so much! 💃🏃👯 feels like the baby is an aerobic instructor several times through the day!
Labor signs: none yet.
What I miss: sleeping flat on my back and not being tired in the afternoon.
What I am loving: how excited the kids are getting to meet their brother or sister. Each week we watch the video on What to Expect When Expecting. They love it and have been talking to the baby and they tell him/her that they love them! Melts this momma's heart!
What I am looking forward to: third trimester and finishing up my first year of homeschooling Nataleigh.
Best moment of the week: made a special meal for my honey Olive Garden inspired: salad, Chicken Gnocchi soup, bread sticks and strawberry pretzel salad. So good!!!
Milestones: almost to third trimester! Time is flying by!
News: at my last OB appt the baby was measuring a week ahead and the heart rate kept changing which I was very thankful for because if it was a consistent number I would analyze if it's a boy/girl and I truly want it to be a surprise so I'm thankful that this baby is very active!
Goals: kept eating healthy and get more exercise.
Weekly wisdom: enjoy each moment and have s good attitude!

Couldn't find a rutabaga so my sign works well!
